Your wedding photography is a huge investment and a pretty sizeable chunk of change, so it's important you choose someone that is the right fit and who you wholeheartedly trust to document your special day. I firmly believe your images are one of the few investments you make for your wedding day that will only increase in value over time. The food gets eaten, your flowers will wilt but your photos will be proudly displayed in your families' homes and one day, they may even be delicately fawned over by future generations.

In the most simplest terms, I care. Your big day is important to you, and so it's important to me. I become a huge fan & die-hard cheerleader of every couple I work with. It's about connection, connecting on a human level - without this I don't think working together would work. So, I care.
Here's the truth, you'll be spending a lot of time with me on your wedding day. Whether it's me being a fly on the wall during the getting ready or a director prompting authenticity during the couple photos, the reality is that you'll see more than some of your friends. So it's important for me to stand by you and help you be your best.
+ i'm big on communication; so you can expect a lot of touch points from me throughout the entire process. i will not disappear on you. but also, I'm always a phone call, text or email away. & if you ever want to grab coffee (i'm a tea person btw) than that's a yes for me.
+ my job doesn't start & end on your wedding day. the last thing i want us to be doing is to break the ice on an already emotion-filled day. so, before your special day arrives, i'm sending you wedding guides, scouting locations, photographing your engagement photos, coordinating with your vendors & last but certainly not least, helping you craft your timeline.
+ then magic on your wedding day; i'll be a calming presence during your getting ready photos, a ninja during your ceremony + reception and a force on your dance floor.
+ & then post wedding, i'll be meticulously editing your gallery, sending you sneak peeks, arranging your story & slideshow and designing your wedding album

WEDDINGS

up to a full day wedding coverage, a detailed wedding guide, timeline guides and assistance, engagement session, up to two photographers, and your high-res images delivered through a private online gallery (with optional add-ons). hourly rates are $800/hr.

"Zhaun...was literally a gift sent from above. My husband and I got engaged in August and had our wedding planned that upcoming October. With a whole bunch on my plate, I let my fiancé (at the time) take charge of our photographer. Ladies...if you were like me and were worried about your fiancé taking the lead... just know that Zhaun will melt all your worries away. Even with such a quick turn-around, Zhaun was ready to work! We were all in constant contact about what to expect, what we wanted out of our photos, and how to plan. A week before the big day, we found out it would most likely rain on our outdoor wedding. Zhaun kept an amazing attitude and ensured us that the photos would still turn out gorgeous. And of course...it didn't just rain... it poured. To this day, people come up to me and compliment on how romantic our photos turned out. One of the things I loved most about Zhaun is he allowed all our guests to enjoy each moment of our wedding without intrusion. Zhaun was hands down the best vendor we hired for our wedding. There’s two things that mattered to me when choosing a wedding photographer. First, the pictures (obviously). I knew they were going to be good after looking through his portfolio but I wasn’t ready for how gorgeous they turned out!! They are so beautiful and exactly what I wanted - it’s clear that he really listened to me in our initial meetings and brought the vision to life. The second thing that mattered to me was finding someone who was easy and enjoyable to work with. I didn’t realize how important this would be until the morning of my wedding; its was pouring, things were behind schedule, and I was so stressed. Zhaun was not only on time but early, SO calm, and just such a lovely person to have around. If there is one vendor you prioritize for your wedding, let it be photography with Zhaun Frias. We cannot sing his praises enough! From beginning to end, Zhaun brought professionalism, humanity, and fun to our wedding! His commitment to his couples is unmatched: We had to reschedule our engagement shoot due to illness and Zhaun turned around our entire gallery in 3 days in order for us to have the photos to use for our save the dates. His planning and communication are top-notch. Zhaun makes photography fun: My now-husband (who does not like to take pictures) had a blast at our engagement session. At the wedding, our family members, bridal party, and guests raved about Zhaun being so personable and easy to work with. Zhaun managed to capture every moment while never overshadowing or being pushy (like some weddings we’ve been to!) I was nervous that without videography, some details and emotions from our wedding would be lost, but Zhaun’s photojournalism style brings our day back to life through our photos. Not only is Zhaun an incredibly talented photographer, but he immediately made us feel at ease in front of the camera. We fell in love with Zhaun’s documentary style of shooting. We didn’t want our photographs to feel super staged or posed and he effortlessly captured our intimate moments together.
We hired Zhaun to shoot both our engagement photos (highly recommend doing this) and on our wedding day. Zhaun was patient with us and offered constructive advice (in funny ways) to get us to relax in front of the camera. He was all on board when we asked him to wake up early on one of the longest days of the year for a sunrise session (100% worth it).
As we approached our wedding day. He was in communication with us to help us stay organized. On the wedding day he was a calming presence and we loved having him around. He kept us on track (timing-wise) and didn’t falter when our seemingly sunny day started raining during our first look. I now look back on these photos as some of my favorites from the day. I love how his photographs told a story of the day from a backseat approach. He was adaptable and fluid with the little changes that happened throughout the day (because surprise! Nothing ever goes as planned). Our wedding day was the best day ever and I wish we could go back and relive the moment all over again! I would recommend Zhaun to all of my friends and family and I hope one day we get the chance to work together again.
