Portsmouth holds a very special place in their hearts, it’s where they both decided to move in together and settle down after college. So it only made sense to have a Portsmouth NH Engagement Session. We decided to start off this engagement session at the Great Island Common, which is a spot the couple always went back to throughout their dating life. It was a beautiful location with plenty of natural beauty and an incredible sunrise.

Afterwards, we took a stroll around downtown Portsmouth in New Hampshire appreciating the buildings (spoiler alert, they’re both architects). It was a great opportunity to capture some unique and timeless shots of them in front of the buildings that they built their love story around. Couldn’t get enough of the cobble stone paths, classic Memorial Bridge and historic North Church. Doing their engagement session in the morning was perfect as we had the whole city to ourselves.

To wrap up the session, we headed to their favourite coffee shop, Kaffee Vonsolln. It was a cozy and warm setting, perfect for capturing some candid and natural moments. The couple looked so at ease and happy as they sipped their coffee and planned their day ahead. An incredibly fruitful Portsmouth NH engagement.
