Having your wedding at the Granite Links in the fall is a beautiful choice. It has a sprawling, rolling hill golf course view with the Boston City Skyline in the background. Along with that, the ballroom ceremony and reception spaces are stunning, with incredibly high ceilings, great light fixtures, grand chandeliers and huge windows! Along with an incredible venue, these two opted to hire, MK YOUR DREAM DAY, as their wedding planner and their day couldn’t have gone more smoothly!

The Bride and Groom opted to get ready in a hotel but Granite Links has a great bridal suite where the bride chose to put her wedding dress, from Flair Boston, on. It was such an emotional time as the bride decided to do a first look with her bridesmaids AND her father. Afterwards, we took some bridal portraits because, how can you not, and her bouquet from the dirt empress with breathtaking fall colours was such a nice touch. The bride took the time to breathe as she got ready. This allows for you to stay present and not make the wedding day feel faster than it already is.

The First Look

Once the groom and his groomsmen arrived by trolly, we were ready for the bride and groom to see each other for the first time. A top the sprawling hills with the Boston Skyline was the perfect spot for their first look. Afterwards, we took family photos and wedding party photos. Having a first look is such a great way to get all your photos done before the ceremony. This allows for you to have time to really enjoy the cocktail hour and all your guests! After all the wedding party photos, we also went inside to make use of Granite Links amazing windows.

The Ceremony

The absolute elegance of Granite Links makes decorating for the ceremony quiet effortless. However, the floral design by the dirt empress just made it that much better. The ceremony was filled with laughter, ear to ear smiles and joyful tears. Above all, what really made this time incredible was every moment the couple locked eyes with each other. After the couple said their I do’s, we quickly ran outside to catch the sunset and boy was it a sight to behold.

Celebrating the Night Away

Once we finished all the sunset photos, the couple went back to join their guests at the cocktail hour. All the touches and details they chose for reception was impeccable. From incredible floral center pieces, to a cake by Montillios, all the way to an espresso martini ice luge! Needless to say, we danced the night away.
