Sand dunes in New England? Who know it was possible! What an incredible time capturing the love of these two at this West Greenwich Sand Dunes Engagement. Amid acres of forestland and untouched wilderness is 40 acres of sand dunes in the middle of Rhode Island. They dub this area the Rhode Island Desert. These two found the sand dunes perfect for their adventurous relationship.
We first started off casually just walking around and found a body of water. What better thing to do is to skip rocks and and enjoy the water? I love making engagement sessions activity based as it lends well to my documentary style. I want my couples to feel comfortable, natural and organic. If I gave them stiff prompts, then they’ll look stick. The rock skipping quickly became a competition and ended with laughter that filled the air.
After we were done skipping rocks, the sun began to set and it was time to get a little fancy. We did a little bit of an outfit change where they both went formal wear. There’s something amazing about a well dressed couple juxtaposed with the backdrop of a desert landscape. We ran around, popped champagne, had a picnic. This quickly became a night we would never forget. Trust me, you need to have a West Greenwich Sand Dune Engagement.
