Being high school sweethearts, they wanted to do their engagement session where it all started, in their hometown of Andover. It was a crisp fall morning, and they couldn’t think of a better place to do their engagement then the Steven’s-Coolidge House. The Steven’s Coolidge House & Gardens was a former farm turned early 20th century estate. It holds bountiful gardens, vast fields and wispy golden autumn grass.

We started off simply walking around, through the gardens. There were so many incredibly flowers that grew person height! Beautiful fall colours dotted the grounds and so all we did is enjoy them. They walked the aisles, played tag (trust me, not just a childhood game), and stopped and “smelled the roses”. Fall is such a beautiful time at the Steven’s Coolidge House.

We then finished by exploring the rest of the grounds and running through the fields. It was a whimsical love story. It was perfect. Since we did a morning session, we had the grounds all to ourselves. If you are a shy person (like me), this is ideal. You can be who you are, with each other, without gawking eyes.
