When two architects decide to tie the knot, choosing a wedding venue that reflects their love for design and art is a must. Mass MoCA, with its stunning galleries and impressive architecture, becomes the perfect backdrop for their special day. Follow me along on this Mass MoCA Wedding.
As a photographer, capturing moments of love and joy in a documentary style is my passion. When photographing a wedding at Mass MoCA, I love to blend in with the crowd and capture candid shots that represent the real emotions of the day while showcasing the incredible lines and artwork of the gallery.

Before jumping too far ahead, I want to talk about the bravery of this bride. The day of her wedding, she decided to surprise her husband-to-be. While she was getting ready, she decided to get a haircut! During the first look, the groom was certainly surprised. It led to the groom feeling very grounded. It wasn’t a day about perfection (although her hair come out perfect), it was a day about being there for each other. After running around all the galleries (well not all, Mass MoCA has too many), they hid away for their ceremony.

The Mass MoCA did an incredible job on the reception space. With the vast open space and floor to ceiling windows, it felt so elevated and grand. With cafeteria styled long tables and bistro lights strung from the ceilings, the mood was perfect. It created an evening the couple will never forget.
