A breath taking summertime Boston Public Garden engagement session. The couple loved the gardens as it was a frequent beacon to their relationship. It’s also a staple for Boston. With incredible garden landscaping, a lagoon perfect picnics and willows dotting the edge, the Boston Public Garden is an ideal location. However, the gardens can become pretty crowded in the summer. Over 3 million tourists visit it each year and with a shy couple, that equation doesn’t compute.
So, we opted for a sunrise session. We had the whole gardens to ourselves, stayed cool and had incredible sunrise golden light. A perfect combination. One of the most impossible thing to do is to try and get photos on the bridge without passing tourists. Not at sunrise, it’s amazing how it feels when you have the whole city to yourself. We ran around, chased the pigeons away and popped some champagne.
To finish off the engagement session, we ended off at Contessa Ristorante, we got there right as it opened up. We had about 10 minutes before other patrons came in. Perched atop the Newbury Hotel, it’s a grand destination for an intimate meal. Follow us along this incredibly intimate engagement session. Oh, and stay tuned for their wedding in York Maine!
