A Trinity Church Wedding Ceremony

I absolutely adored these two. They were a lowkey couple that simply wanted their wedding about being grounded with each other and their loved ones. They are both in the medical field in the Boston and they wanted quintessential Boston locations so they decided on having a Trinity Church and and Hampshire House Wedding.

It started with a first look outside their ceremony venue, Trinity Church. After getting ready at her hotel, the bride walked over to Trinity Church, where the groom was waiting. Now, currently Copley Square (the front of Trinity Church) is under renovations. So we had to think quick to make sure there was not any construction in the background. Luckily, the back of Trinity Church is also absolutely stunning. Set in between sprawling buildings, it was very much a beautiful urban setting. They chose to have a first look to get rid of all their jitters in order to be present during their day. Prioritizing staying present throughout the day, having a first look makes all the sense. Once the first look was finished, we took family formals and wedding party formals all before the ceremony so the couple could enjoy the cocktail hour with their guest.

A Hampshire House Reception

Once the ceremony was over and the “just married feelings” welled up, we set off. The city has so much charm and architecture to offer. From Newbury St, the brown stones of Marlborough street and the expansive Commonwealth Ave Mall. Oh, and you can’t forget the Boston Public Garden. So, after the ceremony ended we decided to take the long way to Hampshire House and just capture what came our way.

I love the Hampshire House. It’s a turn-of-the-century mansion on the historic Beacon Hill. With sweeping views of the Boston Public Garden, an opulent fireplace and a floor to ceiling library, it makes for an beautiful and intimate venue for your reception.
